The Klokočské rocks are famous for their spectacular cliff edge views towards the volcanic hill of Kozákov. The area is one of the larger sandstone plateaux, and has a classic cuesta shape (gently sloping to the southwest, with a steep cliff edge facing northeast).

The trail from the top of the narrow rock gorge, the Klokočské průchody (pictured left), along the yellow hiking trail to the Rotštejn rock castle ruin, is one of the most scenic in the Český ráj (and also has a lot of steep step sections…)
