Brada is a medieval castle ruin situated on a rocky spur at the edge of the Prachovské skály rock area. From the Brada viewpoint there are panoramic views over the whole Jičín plain.

The earliest mention of Brada Castle dates back to the 13th century. At the beginning of the 14th century Brada was connected to Veliš, the large royal castle situated to the southwest of Jičín. Before the end of the 15th century Brada Castle was abandoned and slowly fell into disrepair.
