Hynšta rock fortress

Hynšta is a small rock castle located in the centre of the Příhrazské rock area. It was possibly constructed in the 14th century at the time other medieval castles were being built in the area, as an outpost of one of the larger castles, such as the nearby Valečov or Drábské světničky.
Today, little remains of the site, with the most notable feature being the large rock room, which is the reason the site is commonly known as Hynšta cave. The site is located on a small (marked) diversion off the blue hiking trail to the east of Mužský.
